Questions and answers
In plain words, and true of what exists today. Where something is not built yet, it says so.

Not a marketing figure — every one of them is listed on the public notice register, with a blockchain receipt you can check without us.
The words we use
▸What is BZeUSD?
A digital currency pegged to the US dollar — one BZeUSD is one dollar, and it does not swing in value the way Bitcoin does. It is what books are priced in here and what you are paid in. You do not need to understand any of the underlying machinery to use it, any more than you need to understand card networks to be paid by card.
▸What is Polygon, and why is my book on it?
Polygon is a public blockchain — a shared record that no single company owns or can quietly edit. When your book is filed here, a fingerprint of it (not the book itself, not your text) is written to that record with the date. Anyone can check it later, including in a dispute, and they do not have to ask us or believe us. That is the entire point: the evidence outlives this company.
▸What is the NFT, and do I need a crypto wallet?
The NFT is simply an ownership record for your title, issued in your name. It is held in safekeeping for you — you do not need a wallet to publish, to sell, or to be paid. Signing up needs an email address and nothing else.
▸What is a “notice period”?
When you file a work, your claim is published openly for thirty days so anyone who disagrees can say so. If nobody does, you receive a certificate recording that the claim was made public, dated, and unchallenged. It is the same principle as a public notice in a newspaper — visible, dated, and on the record.
Money
▸What do I actually keep?
Between 70% and 95% of each sale, depending on your plan. The full table is on the pricing page — every tier, every fee, no asterisks.
▸What does it cost to publish?
A membership, plus a publication fee per channel you choose. The first title on the basic tier falls inside a free quota, so it can cost nothing to start. The exact figure is shown to you before you pay, and listed in full here.
▸Does the kind of book change the price?
No. A classification describes what a book can do, never what it costs. Pricing is identical across all four types.
Your work
▸Is this a copyright registration?
No, and the certificate says so on its face. It is dated, public, verifiable evidence that you made a claim and when — which is what most disputes actually turn on. It is not a government registration and it does not by itself decide ownership. We would rather you knew that now than discovered it later.
▸Who owns my book?
You do. Publishing here is not an assignment of rights. You can sell the same book elsewhere, and several titles here are also on other stores.
▸Can I publish in Kannada, Hindi, Tamil or Bengali?
Yes. Indian-language titles are first-class here, not an afterthought — the platform already carries Kannada and Hindi editions, typeset properly rather than transliterated into something a Latin-only pipeline could cope with.
▸Someone filed a claim on work that is mine. What can I do?
While the notice period is open, file a counter-claim from the public notices page. It is recorded against the notice and disclosed to the claimant. We record the dispute; we do not judge it.
Readers and the assistant
▸What is “Ask the Book”?
A reader can ask a question and get an answer drawn only from that book's own pages and your commentary. Asked something the book does not cover, it says so rather than inventing an answer. It cannot wander off into the open internet, which is the difference between this and pasting your book into a chatbot.
▸Can readers reach me?
Yes — questions arrive attributed, and your reply is emailed back to the reader. You can also put your WhatsApp group, Telegram channel, website and a video link on the book's page.
▸Will my book be used to train an AI model?
No. The assistant reads your book to answer a reader's question about it. Your text is not training data.

▸Something here is not built yet — how do I know which?
Every capability on what a book can do carries its real status: available now, by arrangement, or not yet offered. We list what does not exist rather than quietly omitting it.
▸Who am I actually dealing with?
1BZ Publishing. Write to ceo@1bz.biz and a person answers — there is no ticket queue.
