Everything the platform does
ebook.1bz.biz turns a book from a static file into a protected, published and interactive living work. Here is the full feature set — every item below is live today.
PROTECT
Public Notice of Claim
Before a book is sold, a dated public notice runs for 30 days — anyone may read it, anyone may contest it. See the notices.
Blockchain proof
Every notice is anchored on Polygon with a transaction anyone can check on an explorer — verification without trusting us.
Verify any protected work
Enter a notice number and get the live record — including a fresh on-chain check. Verify a work.
NFT + Certificate
The work is minted as an IPVault NFT; after the notice period the author receives a Certificate — theirs alone to show. Template certificate.
Protection printed inside the book
The copyright page of every published book carries its notice number and blockchain proof — the claim travels with every copy. Where no ISBN exists, the notice number stands in for one.
Free protection quota
Depending on plan, your first titles carry a free notice, certificate and NFT. See plans.
PUBLISH
Your name, your imprint
On ebook.1bz.biz your book carries your own imprint. The author's name is never replaced by anyone's brand.
One platform, all languages
One ebook platform for all language publication: Amazon's Kindle store does not accept Kannada, Telugu, Bengali or Punjabi — we publish in every language, and every document renders your script correctly.
Translation rights, minted
A translation edition's rights mint as their own NFT — issued against the original work's NFT, carrying the title in each language — so one work's language editions form an on-chain family: joint-venture translations with revenue shared between authors, rentable rights, a lineage anyone can read.
Distribution you can see
Authors and publishers see exactly where each book was submitted — every agency, store list and status. The book page shows a public “Available at” list, including honest “not offered there” entries.
Publish by API
Everything a member can do in the browser works from their own server with an API key — one call runs the whole protected-publishing process. Developer docs.
Public, private, or Smart Reader only
New. Choose who may reach each book as you publish it. Public is the usual thing — free, or sold at your price. Private lists the book but puts it up for sale nowhere: readers ask, and you authorise individual email addresses, one at a time. Smart Reader only keeps it out of every checkout and reaches readers through the ten picks on their pass. Both restricted choices switch off every sale route, not just the button.
An access list you control
New. On a private book you see who has asked and why, authorise or decline each one, paste in a list of colleagues to let in up front, and remove anyone later. People you name do not need an account yet — access begins the moment they register with that address.
Free sample, author-chosen
Authors pick up to 10 sections readers may sample without buying. The platform serves only those sections — never the file.
Fair, transparent pricing
Two ladders — authors and publishers — with yearly and lifetime plans, and the seller keeps the large majority of every sale. Compare plans.
READ — THE LIVING BOOK
Questions to answers — Ask the Author
New. Send the author a question from inside the book; the author answers from their question inbox and you are emailed the reply — a real conversation between reader and author, question to answer.
Ask the Book (AI)
An assistant grounded in this book and its author's commentary — and nothing else. If the answer is not in the book, it says so instead of inventing.
Author's notes in the margin
Authors attach commentary to passages — explanations and examples that update without changing the original text.
Page-by-page reading
A Kindle-style paginated reader for EPUB and Markdown, with copy disabled on the text.
Select a passage by typing
Selection by mouse is disabled to discourage copying — so you select a passage by typing its first and last words; the reader finds it and offers highlight or note.
Notes, highlights, bookmarks, progress
Annotations and reading position follow you. Quizzes let you test your own understanding chapter by chapter.
FOR AUTHORS
Community links on every book
A readers' group link (WhatsApp preferred), a Telegram link and a website on the book page — set and edited by the author, anytime, right on the page.
Question inbox
Every reader question, per book, with inline replies — replying emails the reader.
What readers ask the AI
The question texts and their counts — never who asked. See where readers struggle and answer it once, in commentary.
Reading Insight — anonymous by design
Readers, sales, completion, quiz averages, a knowledge-level band. Counts and averages, never “which reader got what wrong” — analytics, not surveillance.
Earnings to your own wallet
BZeUSD payouts to a wallet you set yourself; the rate on each sale is frozen the day it happens.
Your bought books stay yours
Purchased books are readable online in the e-reader; if the service is ever discontinued, delivery of your ebook copy by email or download completes the service. Terms.
Free books: reading only
A free book is open to read; notes, quizzes, Ask the Book and Ask the Author are benefits of purchased titles.
Powered underneath by CopyGuard, Polygon, IPVault, BZeUSD and a book-grounded AI. A notice here is dated, public, verifiable evidence of a claim — not a government copyright registration.
